Formule is a piece in motion written and performed by a drummer and a juggler.
Since 2004, the Collectif Petit Travers has been delving into the relationship between music and dance, through singular and constantly-renewed scores. Here, Julien Clément, who trained at France’s national centre for circus arts (CNAC), and Pierre Pollet, a drummer and multi-percussionist, propose a simple experiment: show the eyes and ears the accuracy, finesse and scope of the subtle dialogue between juggling and drumming. A circus show that reveals drums to be the heart of the moving body.
