Four professional networks give a short presentation of their work and areas of focus. An opportunity to make connections and expand your international network!

1.30pm - LAPAS, the French national network set up in 2013 to bring together the professionals – chiefly in the areas of production, administration and dissemination – who provide day-to-day assistance to performing-arts artists in the independent sector. www.lapas.fr

1.55pm – REZO, the French national network that promotes, assists and supports choreographic artists in the field of hip-hop.
REZO stemmed from a study by Initiatives d’Artistes en Danses Urbaines (IADU) “The challenge of emergence”, commissioned by the Fondation de France in 2017. This study kicked off thinking around the involvement and reach of the IADU programme nationally. Led by the body that runs La Villette in Paris, IADU comprises 15 organisations which form a network of stakeholders: choreographic centres, venues, production companies, festivals and training centres that all support hip-hop dance through their various remits. REZO works to promote, assist and support choreographic artists in hip-hop dance, and relies on multiple venues and organisations to ensure that dance works are visible, spotted, publicised and disseminated all over France. REZO is coordinated by IADU.

2.20pm - IETM, international network for contemporary performing arts.
The IETM is a global network of 500-plus organisations and individuals working in the contemporary performing arts: theatre, dance, circus, cross-disciplinary forms, and new media.
Our members include festivals, companies, producers, theatres, research and resource centres, universities and institutions. We hold two plenary meetings a year in different European cities, and regular smaller meetings worldwide. We also commission publications and research projects, facilitate communicating and distributing information, and advocate for the value of the performing arts. We advocate for the value of arts and culture in our fast-changing world, and empower performing-arts professionals through access to international connections, knowledge and a dynamic forum for exchange.
We aim to create a more inclusive contemporary arts sector by helping our members to diversify their organisations and work. We also encourage all professionals who are under-represented in the performing arts to join our activities and network, regardless of social background, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, physical abilities, working and employment status, age, career path, and geographical location.
