Biography

Mélissa Guex is a dancer and choreographer. In 2012, she joined Compagnie Junior Le Marchepied in Lausanne and then, between 2013 and 2015 she trained at the Lassaad School in Brussels and took part in several workshops, in particular with Ohad Naharin. In 2019 she graduated with a BA in Contemporary Dance from La Manufacture, Lausanne. She created several short dance pieces: the duo Hayali (2017) with Emre Yildizar and the collective project Hors piste (2018). In 2019 she worked with Eugénie Rebetez as assistant director for her new creation and also performed in Géraldine Chollet’s project presented at Les Printemps de Sévelin. In 2019 still, at Théâtre Sévelin 36, she presented De ceux for Les Quarts d’heure, and then Sous-sol, a longer version of her solo for Les Demi-heures, presented at Les Printemps de Sévelin 2020.
