Hélène Latte's pictorial work questions the gesture of painting. This is of particular interest to her today, at a time when painting has long been called into question and shaken by the emergence of new tools for making and capturing images. His preoccupation is centered on the idea of making emerge in the sensitive world, by painting, by this ancestral human gesture, new visions which would come to question our glance by playing with the codes of the numerical visual environment inside which we all evolve today.
