Her trees are not mere landscapes; they are the very bodies of this land. Beings whose roots draw from memory and whose branches rise amid the turmoil of fire. This exhibition tells the story of resilience at the heart of the flames, where the line between destruction and rebirth blurs.

In these works, a constant dialogue unfolds between gentleness and violence. The artist uses embroidery and thread—symbols of care, intimacy, and healing—to express the wounds, anguish, and chaos of a nation under the fire of oppression. Here, every stitch becomes an act of survival in the face of destruction.

These feet moving forward through the ashes are the footprints of a people who refuse to fall. Under constant threat, in the shadow of an imposed war, they seek refuge—a refuge beneath a tree that, though scarred by a foreign fire, still feels life pulsing through its veins of thread.

This resilience is not the result of carelessness, but the splendor of roots that refuse to let go, reaching toward a sky that will remain, against all odds, free and infinite

Installation

Sketch of a memorial installation currently in development. The work consists of two complementary parts: a wall piece combining drawing and embroidery on fabric, and a floor installation made up of cast plaster bases serving as candelabras. The lit candles lend this commemorative ensemble a living, evolving quality, exploring the passage of time, traces, and collective memory.
