Located within the former Saint-Etienne School of Fine Arts, La Serre is a municipal contemporary art space, offering a program focused on innovation and experimentation and designed to support the professional development of emerging artists.

The exhibition gardens at night is a journey through three places at dusk.

As our eyes learn to see in the darkness, a marshland, along with a forest of lush vegetation and luminous furrows left behind by imperceptible particles reveal themselves. A film follows naturalists merging with sphagnum mosses. A cosmic cartography becomes fragile and ephemeral, seen from Earth. A video game turns into a walk toward dreams and the confusion of identities. Within it, an obscure future buds, limitless, uncertain.

On the periphery of night, these installations think otherwise about the technologies that surround us. Here, the digital realm appears less as a tool than as an environment: it activates relationships between heterogeneous elements (physical matter, code, narrative) without reducing them to a unified system. These garden works offer sensitivity and attentiveness to the other as a way of existing, a form of resistance for imagining alternative technological futures.
