DOUBLES explores the forms of duplication that accompany all perception. The works open up a transitional space where the visible and the invisible, presence and absence, coexist, revealing reality as always accompanied by its double.

My artistic practice explores the forms of duplication that permeate our perception. Painting, textiles, sculpture, and projection come together to create spaces where images respond to one another, overlap, and transform.

The artwork becomes a space where multiple states of the same form coexist. These doubles are neither copies nor reflections. They reveal what eludes immediate presence: a memory, a projection, a trace, or a possibility. As Maurice Merleau-Ponty writes, “the visible has an invisible lining.” It is within this gap that my research takes place.

Dreams, memory, and the unconscious fuel this process of emergence. The images are never fixed; they oscillate between presence and absence, materiality and disappearance. Each installation invites the viewer to inhabit this in-between space, where reality is always revealed alongside its double.
