In its former art school, the City of Saint-Étienne provides visual artists with 17 individual and shared studios, accommodating a total of 28 artists. As part of the ‘Résonances’ programme of the Lyon Contemporary Art Biennale, 18 of these artists are opening the doors of their studios to the public.

Featuring spaces for production, exhibition, accommodation and socialising, the site of the former Saint-Etienne School of Fine Arts is designed to provide visual artists with a range of resources to support the development of their professional careers.

Representing the diversity of contemporary creative practices (photography, design, digital arts, sculpture, painting, prints, installations, performances, etc.), the artists from the City of Saint-Etienne’s studios invite you to come and discover their work during a special evening event.
