As part of the ‘Résonance’ programme for the 2026 Lyon Biennale, the town of Amplepuis is hosting an encounter between three distinctive artistic worlds.
From 3 October to 1 December 2026, the exhibition offers an immersive experience of the dialogue between matter and light.
This exhibition offers a sensitive immersion into the heart of landscapes and their materials. Frédéric Houvert explores the tension between plant motifs and abstraction, transforming nature into pictorial layers. In response, the collective Île/Mer/Froid documents the world through spontaneous and raw constructions, drawing from ancestral knowledge. Magalie Wagner, meanwhile, anchors this dialogue in the power of the potter's craft: shaped by fire, her sculptures evoke domestic memory.
