La Brûlure la plus Lente
David & Simon Le Borgne - Cross-Residency in Visual Arts and Dance

As part of the Visual Arts × Dance Cross-Residency program developed by the CAP • Saint-Fons Art Centre and the National Centre for Dance (CN D), Lyon, the Art Centre is hosting David Le Borgne for a research and production residency. During this residency, he continues to develop the sculptural and choreographic dimensions of La Brûlure la plus Lente, a project created with Simon Le Borgne.

La Brûlure la plus Lente begins with a fundamental question: how can we continue to dance in a world saturated with images, constant stimulation and accelerating rhythms? In response, the project takes the form of a choreographic installation in which dance, sculpture, light and sound converge to create a sensory fiction. Through states of shadow, opacity and slowness, the artists explore new ways of perceiving the world around us. Here, the body is no longer merely a performer but a sensitive medium capable of making the transformations of living systems tangible. At the intersection of visual art and dance, La Brûlure la plus Lente transforms the exhibition space into a site of experience, inviting audiences to inhabit time, movement and perception differently.
