In The Wardrobe of possible selves, the costume represents a liberation of the purely individual imagination, free from social constraints. It becomes a personal artistic adventure in which each person’s inner truth is expressed through a physical form born of the intimacy of a deeply felt experience.

The clothing we wear is always an important element in our relationships to others. It is a sign of belonging—to a community, a region, a civilization, a tribe, or a faith. They may also become a form of collective artistic expression, whether in a carnival procession, a festive gathering, or an unconventional social group.

In The Wardrobe of possible selves, however, artistic expression emerges as a liberation of the individual imagination, freed from social conventions and prescribed identities. It is a personal and unique visual adventure, where the inner voice unique to each artist is externalized into a bodily form, born from the very intimacy of their sensory and spiritual experience. The artist becomes an archaeologist of textiles, uncovering and rewriting the history of materials imbued with traces of former lives. In this exhibition, this personal liberation is possible only through craftsmanship.)

From the encounter between imagination and matter arise sculptural garments of unexpected beauty and shared wonder. At once extraordinary and timeless, these works embody the freedom of creation and evoke the celestial destiny offered to each of us.
