The exhibition entitled Les mues éternelles heralds a fresh new era for the FRAC—Auvergne, now housed in a historic building that has been in constant metamorphosis until this long-awaited reopening, which has been nearly thirty years in the making. The two-storey labyrinth of exhibition spaces opens up a mosaic of low and high ceilings, openings, perspectives, viewpoints, passageways and niches—and visible features of the once-bustling ‘Halle aux Blés’ wheat exchange.

To celebrate National Frac Weekend, we invite you to enjoy a delightful stroll through the new building: a surprise tour, a participatory workshop, a performance, and a meet-and-greet with an artist… The Frac Auvergne is throwing open its doors! A poetic and festive occasion for everyone from 0 to 99 to enjoy themselves with friends or family, and to come together around works of art for an hour, two, or more if the mood strikes.
