First Love is a monumental installation composed of three reclaimed steel sculptures presented beneath the monumental arcades of Noze, in Lyon's historic Croix-Rousse district.

Located just a few steps from the Lyon Opera House, the installation offers another form of dance. The three sculptures seem to move beneath the arcades in a silent choreography where steel interacts with stone, light and passers-by. The arcades become an open stage within the city, where architecture welcomes the silent movement of the sculptures. The installation reveals the site as much as it is inspired by it, inviting visitors to discover this urban heritage from a new perspective.

Rather than occupying the space, the project reveals it. Visitors are invited to slow down, look up and rediscover the surrounding architecture. The sculptures remain deliberately open to interpretation, encouraging contemplation, discussion and imagination.

Created entirely from reclaimed steel, the installation reflects a sustainable artistic approach while creating a dialogue between contemporary creation and architectural heritage.

Accessible free of charge 24 hours a day, the installation changes with daylight, seasons and the movement of visitors.

Through Sculptures in Dialogue, visitors are invited to photograph the installation and share their own perspective through a collaborative gallery. Every photograph becomes a new interpretation of the artwork, making each visitor an active participant in the installation.
