What kind of state do we live in?’ – the political state, the state of citizenship – will be an immersive presentation of freely available materials: drawings, images, texts, spoken words, sounds and audio testimonies.

Naturally, we would be inclined to protect our living space – society – to avoid wars and to build a humane future together. Yet, faced daily with a constant stream of images, we ask ourselves: are we in conflict? Where is the war? What do peace and tension mean?

What signs and aspects distinguish or link a state of conflict from a state of peace: distance, duration, economic value, others and their invisibility, one authority being more legitimate than another, the disappearance of a culture?
