An interdisciplinary, multisensory performance by Stéphanie Kry, visual artist and composer

Driven by music, Stéphanie Kry weaves themes that run through her work on the piano. From one motif to the next, her compositions and improvisations unfold in response to her emotions, the states of her inner rhythms, in dialogue with the works, the space, and the presences that inhabit her. Connections, swirling colors, and compositions - both botanical and musical - intertwine and become one.

A live piano performance interspersed with readings of selected texts, echoing the concepts of relationship, coexistence, transmission, and belonging to the living world. Through plant prints, textiles, music, readings, and movement, this performance explores what connects us to the world.

The performance revolves around a fundamental question : What is my debt ? Stéphanie Kry invites us to reflect on our coexistence with others - both human and non-human - and on the visible and invisible bonds that run through our lives.

At the heart of this sensory experience : a participatory installation and an invitation to wander through music. The audience is invited to write a word, a thought, or an intention on a naturally dyed strip of fabric before tying it to the branches of a twisted willow tree. Little by little, the tree becomes a collective work of art, a sensory map of our sense of affiliations. An experience where sounds, imprints, and materials come together to form a single language. And one question remains: To whom do I owe who I am?
