The opening reception is a festive event marking the start of the exhibition, attended by the three artists: Denis Jourdin, Nathalie Kry, and Blandine Laneyrie.
During the evening, a video by Jean Luc Michon and Blandine Laneyrie will be screened. This video clip brings to life the characters from Blandine Laneyrie’s series of paintings. Through this shared adventure, the characters continue their story elsewhere. It is a way for the artist to breathe new life into this series, which was born of anxiety yet is nonetheless imbued with a desire for hope.
A participatory installation involving the public, created by Stéphanie Kry and Frédéric Mulatier, will also begin on the opening day and continue throughout the exhibition. It will culminate in a collective artwork. A sculpture by Frédéric Mulatier features an armful of twisted willow branches in the center of the gallery. Each visitor is invited to choose a tie - a symbol of restoration (fabric dyed with plant-based dyes and ecoprints provided) - to inscribe a word or an intention upon it, as a return to life, and to tie it to the branches. A gesture of connection, of entrusting, of transmission… The tree becomes a collective memory, a space of acknowledged debt and care. And each person leaves with a question - to let it unfold…
About Frédéric Mulatier
Drawing on a dialogue between basketry and earth shaped by fire, Frédéric Mulatier, through his words, conveys the passage of time and the imprint of the days. His works seem to come from another era, telling us stories and revealing buried secrets.

An interdisciplinary, multisensory performance by Stéphanie Kry, visual artist and composer
Driven by music, Stéphanie Kry weaves themes that run through her work on the piano. From one motif to the next, her compositions and improvisations unfold in response to her emotions, the states of her inner rhythms, in dialogue with the works, the space, and the presences that inhabit her. Connections, swirling colors, and compositions - both botanical and musical - intertwine and become one.
Galerie Racont'ARTS
The evening is divided into two parts: a discussion with the artist Denis Jourdin and a musical segment featuring a new composition by Dominique Clément.
