In a world in disarray and where conflicts are on the rise, art is not immune to the turmoil. Whilst the darkest times often fuel a resurgence of creativity, we are convinced that art can also offer a space for respite, contemplation and unapologetic beauty.

‘Respirer encore’ embodies this longing for colour, sensations and revelations. Its central theme is rooted in a rigorous aesthetic exploration, underpinned by meticulous curation. More than ever, we have sought to create a dialogue between the works, generating resonances, echoes and, at times, tensions, in order to stir emotion and invite the viewer’s gaze to wander from one world to another. The exhibition brings together 182 works — mainly paintings, but also sculptures and photographs. It showcases French and international artists whose works interact within a curatorial framework designed as a sensory experience.
