Three Passages for a Re-Evolution invites visitors to journey through the thresholds of our time. From the awareness of crisis to inner transformation and the embodied experience of change, each passage offers a step toward becoming an active participant in one's own metamorphosis.
Through three successive installations, the Mercurart Art Garden offers a symbolic journey through the transformations of our time.
The first passage, The Pattern of the living, takes the form of an observation. It reflects on the imbalances of the contemporary world and on the possibility of imagining a different relationship with life and the living.
The second passage, The Gate of Hé, evokes metamorphosis. Inspired by the Hebrew tradition and the transformation of Abram into Abraham, it invites visitors to cross an inner threshold shaped by encounters, experiences and moments of awakening.
The third passage, The Gate of Tō, draws inspiration from the Japanese torii. Visitors pass through a sounding curtain of boxwood beads before entering a contemplative space designed for attention, resonance and reflection. Here, perception, correspondence and imagination become agents of embodied transformation.
Presented within a garden awarded the French label Jardin Remarquable (“Remarkable Garden”), the project invites each visitor to become an active participant in their own re-evolution.
