Un dossier de plus pour nos archives... is a group show highlighting the invisible labor of cultural workers—while questioning how the art worldlooks after those without whom it would not exist.

Every year, cultural workers apply to dozens of open calls. They imagine, write, and articulate their project ideas through words and images. They update their resume, write letters of intent, and format their portfolio. This burdensome and time consuming labor is an integral part of their daily life; and for most of them, the only way to find work.

Co-curated by P.B. City and Nous Sommes Au Regret, this exhibition presents (rejected) proposals from a wide range of professionals— actors, architects, craftpeople, writers, ceramists, comedians, curators, dancers, designers, illustrators, directors, musicians, painters, performers, photographers, producers, sculptors, etc.—to local, national and international structures. By framing rejection as a systemic phenomenon, the exhibition creates a space that questions selection processes and power dynamics involving commissioning institutions.

From September 19th to October 17th, 2026 at Atelier LaMezz.

Opening: Saturday, September 19th, 2026 at 4:00 PM / Open by appointment: pbcity69310@gmail.com

Atelier LaMezz

A discussion on the realities surrounding the creation of calls for proposals and the responses to them. By speaking with both the people who issue these calls—and who must sometimes reject projects—and the artists who respond to them, we aim to shed light on the real challenges of this selection process.
