In Linda Sanchez’s primarily sculptural work, the materials are clearly visible, as are the gestures and processes of (de)construction.
A graduate of the Ecole Supérieure d’Art Annecy Alpes in 2006 and again in 2015 (DSRA), Linda Sanchez has participated in numerous residencies, workshops, and collaborations that have allowed her to develop her artistic practice.
Her work was exhibited early on at the IAC—Institut d’art contemporain de Villeurbanne—and she was selected for the 62nd edition of the Salon de Montrouge. She is the recipient of the 2014 Bullukian Prize, the 2017 Révélations Emerige Prize, and the 2018 Prix Découverte from the Amis du Palais de Tokyo. In her primarily sculptural work, the materials are clearly visible, as are the gestures and processes of (de)construction.
