On Saturday, September 12 from 5 p.m. discover the exhibition "Textile Mirages, Fragments of Apparitions" in the presence of artists Barbara Lerch and Marie Lerch, featuring works combining drawing, embroidery, fabric and paper
For the opening of their exhibition "Textile Mirages, Fragments of Apparitions", Galerie Autour de l’image invites visitors to discover the collaborative works of Barbara Lerch, visual artist, and Marie Lerch, textile designer. For their third artistic collaboration, the two artists present a series of new works combining drawing, embroidery, fabric and paper. Inspired by Lyon’s textile heritage and the history of the Canuts, they sensitively explore drapery, folds, traces and the memory held within materials. This opening event will be an opportunity to meet the artists and discuss their creative process, their artistic approach and their poetic universe, suspended between apparition, disappearance, transmission and textile imagination. Opening from 5 p.m., in the presence of the artists.
