Biography

Germaine Kruip’s practice unfolds at the intersection of visual art, performance, and architecture, investigating the relationships between time, space, and perception. The artist explores the staging of elusive phenomena, such as shifting daylight and the passage of time; the relationship between art and ritual through repetition; historical attempts to create abstraction through geometry, and the desires, theories and ideologies that underpin them.
