The Biennale d'Art contemporain has the pleasure to announce that their plateforme Veduta will be supported in 2021 by the French-German Perspektive Fund for contemporary art and arhitecture.
Founded in 2007, Veduta explores the possibilities generated by the implication of curious experimenters in a dynamic of co-creation of artistic and cultural projects. For the "Proximité(s)/Nähe" project that will be launched in the spring of 2021, Veduta associated with the German collective "How to: The Flow of Spirit" for a series of workshops that relate artists and residents of both countries. In order to create a dialogue between France (Cité Jardin district in Lyon) and Germany (Neukölln district in Berlin), the workshops will start with an exploration of the neighborhoods in the outskirts of urban centers. Through shared and co-designed meetings, we will wonder if the suburban daily life opens a window to the future of Europe and an experimentation ground in order to anticipate the needs to come.
