BOB is a temporary third place where cultural, circular, solidarity-based, and social projects are developed, managed by the Plateau Urbain Cooperative for Solidarity-Based Real Estate and Temporary Occupancy.

Having become an industrial wasteland since 2019 following the departure of the Swiss company BOBST (a manufacturer of corrugated cardboard and cardboard packaging machines), the goal of this temporary occupation—which will last until December 2027—is to give these walls a new, more community-focused and inclusive narrative, just as it does for the entire Etape 22D site; a 4-hectare site on which the BOB is located.

With its 95 resident project leaders—whether in the 3,000 m² of office space or the 13,000 m² of industrial halls—the BOB hosts organizations working in the fields of social integration, reuse, crafts, solidarity, entrepreneurship, and the cultural sector.
