Established in Saint-Fons, a town with a rich industrial history and a complex geographical, social and economic landscape, the CAP Centre d’art has a dual mission: to support artistic creation and to raise awareness of contemporary art.
A valuable resource for both artists and the public, the CAP asserts its identity as a laboratory for the production and dissemination of contemporary art, closely connected to its territory and open to the world.
CAP • Centre d’art is a public art venue supported by the City of Saint-Fons.
CAP is a member of the DCA, AC//RA (Contemporary Art in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes), BLA!, Adèle and ADRA networks. Its activities are supported and funded by the City of Saint-Fons, Région Auvergne-Rhône Alpes and the Ministère de la Culture – DRAC Rhone-Alpes.

For his first solo exhibition in France, Peruvian artist Arturo Kameya transforms the entire art centre through existing as well as a new body of work created specifically for the occasion. Paintings, objects, installations, and videos turn the exhibition space into an immersive environment inhabited by the ghosts of the past and the uncertainties of the present, where historical narratives, collective memory, and end-of-the-world imaginaries converge.

Within the CAP • Saint-Fons building, Jean-Julien Ney transforms a technical space into an immersive installation.
Conceived as a "vision device," the work echoes the mechanisms of pre-cinema and explores the boundaries between moving image, volume, and perception, inviting viewers to test the limits of what is seen.
