First founded in Lyon in 1966, Galerie Houg is dedicated to the promotion of emergent contemporary art. The gallery represents both local and international artists, working across a variety of mediums.

The gallery additionally manages the estates of artists Marie Bourget (1952-2016) and Henri Castella (1924-2017).

The gallery space, converted from what was once a garage in the historic neighbourhood of the Basilica of Saint-Martin d’Ainay, is now a spacious, bright space, allowing for high quality exhibition displays.
