La Lisière is a complex of former wine cellars covering approximately 200 m² that has been transformed into a cultural and artistic space in a rural setting. It opens twice a year—in the fall and spring—to present contemporary art exhibitions centered on a specific theme, aimed at a wide and diverse audience that reflects the mosaic of people living in the region where it is located.

The focus is on cultural and artistic education, with guided tours for the general public, school groups, and underserved audiences.

The venue also offers workshops and artist-led engagement sessions with exhibiting artists—either on-site or in schools—as well as a program of small-scale live shows and performances during the opening reception and the following Saturday.

LA LISIERE

Under the title “4 ELEMENTS,” we hope that this new exhibition theme will both raise awareness of and celebrate the landscape and resources of our region. Water, air, earth, and fire have indeed shaped them and have played a major role in the region’s economy and its transformations. The four elements have enabled the necessary—or even inevitable—changes required to sustain human activity and maintain harmony with the resources the landscape provides.
