L’attrape-couleurs – founded in 2000 by artist Daniel Tillier - is a contemporary art center that favours young creation, as well as artistic experimentation and research. This venue showcases all kinds of medium through four annual solo or group shows.

Since 2009, L’attrape-couleurs also hosts residencies. After 20 years spent in the Saint-Rambert neighborhood, L’attrape-couleurs has opened its doors in September 2020 at the foot of the Tour Panoramique de la Duchère.

L’attrape-couleurs, the only contemporary art space in the 9th arrondissement, helps promoting a vibrant local cultural scene. The venue forges strong ties with the neighborhood’s social and educational institutions and offers tours and workshops during exhibition periods, thereby reinforcing its significant role in cultural outreach and engagement with local audiences.
