LE POLARIS DE CORBAS

Le Polaris de Corbas, located in the south-eastern suburbs of Lyon, has found its place and its particular identity within a territory rich in cultural places, as a space for creation and broadcasting.
This theater is animated by a playful spirit, a promotion of popular culture, a diversified program like its audience, a "follow-up in ideas" for the spoken word arts and a tenacity to affirm its approach over the years and changing fashions.
Le Polaris de Corbas offers in a festive spirit a program open to all artistic forms (theater, music, dance, storytelling, circus, plastic arts, movies etc.), which brings together a very regular audience, sensitive to a quality of friendly welcome which facilitates exchange about the shows and meeting with the artists.
It hosts two associated companies (La Grenade, theater troupe and the two singer-songwriters from Mise à feu).
A few strong events punctuate the season: the Nuits de…; the Dites Ouïes storytelling festival; the openings and closings of the season, the apéros sans plateau and goûters enchantés. The team of the Polaris de Corbas welcomes the public with the desire to introduce over the seasons the artistic richness in all its diversity by the emotion offered and the exchanged word. A film and arts program is also offered during the season.
