La Manufacture (1880–1981) is a site that characterizes the textile industry of the Haut-Beaujolais region.

Now partly renovated by the Communauté d’agglomération de l’Ouest Rhodanien, the buildings still retain their original character and offer a unique insight into the history of the region. The site now offers a rich programme of events (activities, shows, workshops, talks, etc.), an ecomuseum with a permanent exhibition and a temporary exhibition, as well as a Micro-Folie (digital museum experience).

Opening dates and times

  • Wednesday to Monday, 10.30 am to 6 pm, from 1 June to 30 September
  • Wednesday to Sunday, 2 pm to 6 pm, from 1 February to 31 May and from 1 October until the Christmas holidays

A reinterpretation of significant works from art history in an outdoor setting. At each stage, this travelling exhibition is enriched with new works created in the studio based on the artistic principle of ‘Hors les murs’ – a local reinterpretation of global art history.
