Situated in the heart of Valence, adjoining the Cathedral of Saint Apollinaire, the Museum of Valence is located in the former Episcopal palace, a vast private mansion surrounded by a courtyard and gardens overlooking the Rhône. Its secular heritage (medieval tower, ogival gallery, 15th- and 17th- century painted ceilings) has been preserved and enriched by major building works completed in December 2013. Our collections of archaeology and art, include an exceptional exhibit of works by Hubert Robert.
