Le Sentier des Lauzes is an artistic and landscape trail located in Saint-Mélany, where contemporary artworks and the natural environment enter into dialogue along the path. The association welcomes artists and researchers in residence at an Atelier-refuge, a place dedicated to creation and exchange. It organizes exhibitions, public talks, and cultural activities that bring the area to life and foster connections with its inhabitants.

Opening Date and Times : The trail is freely accessible during the year : the office is opened everdy Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Franco-Beninese author and playwright Haïla Clémence Akouvi Hessou writes between theatre, fiction and ecological imagination. At the Atelier-refuge, she is developing Maquis Mangrove, an Afrofuturist ecological novel inspired by the Ardèche landscape and a deeply hands-on writing practice.
