In Marion Bornaz's photography, nature, faces, objects, bodies, or light appear without distinct hierarchy, in short poetic sequences. Driven by a fascination for the mysteries of existence, her sets probe the depths of beings. Her images taken in time and from real life evoke in turn our inner silence, our sensations or the fragility of the links that unite us. These samples recompose stories that no longer belong to anyone. The distance with the photographed time seems to extract from life a new and, perhaps, more universal substance.
