Dans l’écho du « Manifesto of Fragility » proposé par la Biennale de Lyon, La Villa du Parc accueillera à l’automne « In Praesentia », une exposition monographique de Niels Trannois.

Niels Trannois, a french artist born in 1976 and working in Basel, has been developping for twenty years a practice of painting going all over its own limits as media, and opening onto space, objects, and images.
At la Villa du Parc, Niels Trannois is inventing a project inspired by the domestic atmosphere of the place, crowded with delicate and amnesiac marks of an absent personality , implicitely evoked in ambiances appearing as mental flashes. Painting is considered as living matter which, such as lichen, is becoming part of familiar matters and objects of an intimate context, favoring transitory states, both material and symbolic, in instance from the inside to the outside. For this exhibtion, Niels Trannois is concieving new artworks in the line of his recent work, calling on his accomplices : artists Felica Atkinson and Jessy Razafimandimby.
