"What is your dream?" is a photography collection that explores the concept of the dream as a wish. By asking residents—"And you, what is your dream?"—we give form to their aspirations and their ways of perceiving the world through staging and gesture.
Working with the participants, the artists created photographic portraits in which each individual moves to give shape to their dream, guided by choreographic work. This artistic, participatory approach offers a way to discover the city through the aspirations of its inhabitants. The photographs reveal how dreams can take tangible form, offering a different—more poetic and human—perspective on the city. These large-format portraits have been displayed at the Centre Social des États-Unis, in the neighborough where the participants live.
