Guided by visual artist Barbara Lerch and textile artist Marie Lerch, draw your own drapery and enhance it with embroidery. Immerse yourself in a sensitive world where textile, drawing and material come together.
At Galerie Autour de l’image, as part of their exhibition “Textile Mirages, Fragments of Apparitions,” visual artist Barbara Lerch and textile artist Marie Lerch invite participants to take part in a workshop exploring drapery drawing and embroidery on paper.Inspired by their collaborative artistic practice, the workshop offers an opportunity to explore the relationship between textile, drawing, material and imagination. Each participant will create their own “Textile Mirage” by drawing a draped form and enhancing it with embroidered thread. No previous experience is required: the workshop is open to everyone.
