To mark the opening of the exhibition, the artists invite visitors to discover their exploration of the transitional landscapes between Oullins and Pierre-Bénite and to engage with the works presented at Atelier laMezz.
The opening reception of Persistence of the Edges celebrates the launch of a project by Claire Georgina Daudin and Marco Piras exploring territories in transition between Oullins and Pierre-Bénite.
Through drawings, analogue photographs, collected fragments and installations, the artists propose a sensitive cartography of thresholds, transitional spaces and memories embedded in the landscape.
Located at the heart of the territory explored, Atelier laMezz offers an ideal setting for discussions around artistic practices and contemporary transformations of the metropolitan landscape.
