"The exhibition focuses on the disorder of perception, the limits of imbalance, Marc Chopy's favourite subjects, which he has experimented with by blurring the boundaries between painting and sculpture. In different forms, the artist offers new works, spread over all the spaces. In the exhibition hall, newly produced sculptures, unstable stacks of painted objects, dialogue with very old works and paintings from the 2010s. In the garden, a small cohort of new Basculeurs (works playing on optical illusion) respond to the Basculeurs permanently installed in front of the art space. In the Nanotecture, the artist invites us to experiment with a total installation that cleverly disrupts the geometry of the place. Finally, the "conference on le basculeur", a reading-performance taken from an old drawing book, will be given for the first time by the artist during the finishing."
