Listeners #3 - This session offers an immersion into the soundscapes of biodiversity and invites audiences to listen differently to the species that inhabit our environments.
Sound can sometimes reveal the diversity of environments more effectively than visual counts. It is a highly valuable indicator of biodiversity.
This performative encounter, grounded in the listening of living species, invites audiences to attune their ears to the rich soundscape of inhabited environments: birds, insects and amphibians are brought into focus, challenging your sense of hearing—so essential to the preservation of landscapes.
