Loss of Appetite
Winfried Weit, born in Germany in 1945, painter and sculptor.
From 1962 to 1970, he obtained a master’s degree in ceramics and studied at the Karlsruhe Academy of Fine Arts.
From 1970 to 1974, he began teaching ceramics to children from the Fourth World (wall murals in Pierrelaye, Méry and Noisy) whilst also studying as an independent student at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
He lived and worked in the United States in 1982 and 1983.
He is currently based in St Julien Molin-Molette. After graduating with a Master’s degree in ceramics, I continued my training at the Karlsruhe School of Fine Arts in Germany, then in Paris. I work with ATD Fourth World and a variety of groups: adults and children with disabilities, blind children, prisoners, students and schoolchildren. I create murals and installations for public institutions.
