Biography
Working in interactive and web design, Yehwan Song explores the evolution of the internet alongside the parallel transformation of the user — from a simple participant to a consumer, and ultimately to a data producer fully embedded within digital systems. By introducing elements of friction into systems typically designed to be seamless and “user-friendly,” she exposes the hidden infrastructures of digital environments and questions the user’s actual position within them.
