An emblematic Renaissance-style town house dating from the late 16th century, this residence is a listed building thanks to its façade, which draws inspiration from classical architecture. Located on Rue d’Italie, it is distinguished by its pedimented windows, oeil-de-boeuf windows, and a chestnut-wood door adorned with diamond-point studs. The restored building retains its spiral staircase and vaulted cellar; today, it houses a reception area, an exhibition room, and the Maison du Patrimoine.

VESTIGES DE L'ÉPHÉMÈRE is an interdisciplinary art project that reflects on the relationship between somatic expression and architectural transformation. Based on performative public interventions, the artists capture physical traces of the typical traboules of Lyon to generate an exhibition that guards their psychogeographic experience as viewed in an installation, video, and photographic documentation.

In addition to the performances and the exhibition, the project includes a WORKSHOP denominated, “The Body as Architectural Territory”. This event invites participants to further explore themes related to bodily experience, territory, and perception through a performative experience.

LA MAISON DES DAUPHINS

In addition to the performances, the exhibition, and the workshop, the project includes the CONFERENCE, Performance and Psychogeography. In the conference the artists will talk about their practice and collaboration to explore notions of the performative, territorial perception, and psychological effects.
