We celebrate here the richness and vitality of an edition conceived under the artistic direction of Tiago Guedes. From major popular celebrations to the most sensitive creations, from emerging artists to international voices, from metropolitan stages to partner territories, the Biennale once again revealed the extraordinary diversity of dance today.
These images trace the many facets of the program: performances, workshops, participatory projects, encounters, journeys through the city, suspended moments, and collective impulses that brought together artists, teams, partners, and an audience whose presence, curiosity, and energy we warmly salute — with a very special thank you to each and every one of them.
We express our deep gratitude to all our public and private partners, whose trust makes such artistic and territorial ambition possible.
A huge thank you to the artists who infused this edition with its unique momentum, as well as to the amateurs whose commitment and generosity made the participatory projects and major gatherings resonate so powerfully.
And thank you to all the cultural organizations, institutions, partner venues, associations, technical teams, and partners who contributed to this unforgettable collective adventure.
To everyone: thank you!
We already look forward to welcoming you in September 2026 for the 18th edition of the Lyon Biennale of Contemporary Art, and in 2027 for the 22nd edition of the Dance Biennale.
We wish you a wonderful end of the year.
