For September and in resonance with the 16th Lyon Biennial, the Slika gallery has invited the French artist Delphine Dénéréaz to be in residence. Her textile work, an interweaving of medieval techniques, the liratte, and contemporary symbolism, echoes for Slika Manifesto of Fragility.

For the month of September 2022 and as part of the resonance with the 16th Lyon Biennial, the Slika gallery has invited the French artist Delphine Dénéréaz to be in residence. The artist's textile work, an interweaving of medieval techniques, the lirette, and contemporary symbolism, echoes for Slika Manifesto of Fragility, (title of the 16th Lyon Biennial).

Attentive to the state of the world, Delphine Dénéréaz focuses her creations on the reuse of textile objects destined to be discarded. Working with the ancestral raw material, which we know is so precious today, she reconnects with craftsmanship and common sense. Her creations bear witness to the history of a generation, lulled by images and brands.

We have invited her to come and live in the gallery for a residency from August 22nd to September 15th, and thus experiment with the volumes and create specifically for the place. This will be followed by an exhibition of his work which will run until the 8th of october.

An immersion in Lyon that promises to be full of surprises!
