Fanny Maugey and the participants are delighted to invite you to discover the presentation of Across Fields and to join them in celebrating this collective journey.

Visual artist Fanny Maugey creates spaces for encounter where artistic practice is rooted in sensory experience. Through a series of workshops combining visual arts, creative writing, culinary experimentation and sound recording, participants were invited to explore the connections between sensation, memory and the perception of time.

Blind tastings, monotypes, embossing, work with wax, weaving, and sound recordings became parallel pathways through the participants’ care journeys and lived experiences, offering ways to evoke what endures, what fades, and what deserves to be preserved.

Located in the macROOM at macLYON, where part of the workshops took place, the presentation brings together traces of this collective journey. Images, impressions, texts, objects and a sound work give form to an artistic experience in which personal memory and shared experience converge.

This project is supported by the Culture and Health programme and is presented in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
