The macROOM is a dedicated space on the second floor of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Lyon. It is open to visitors by appointment only.

Two-wheeled vehicles

The Voie Lyonnaise 1 (cycle path linking Saint-Fons to Vaulx-en-Velin) passes in front of the museum.
Bicycles and two-wheeled vehicles can be parked in front of the entrance to the museum on the park side.
The Velo'v station (bicycle hire service, 1/2 hour free, with a credit card or a TCL card) is located near the museum

Parking

CARS: 3 non-free car parks around the museum. 3350 parking spaces are available, 7 days/7 and 24 h/24.
BUS: Access from quay Charles de Gaulle. Free parking of the Convention Centre (50 quai Charles de Gaulle).

Accessibility

The entrance complies with standards for people with reduced mobility is on the covered street side, opposite the UGC cinema. It leads directly to the ticket office and the elevators.

Parking of PRM vehicles is possible in the P0 car park (vehicle height 1.90m maximum).

The TCL buses which serve the macLYON are the C1, the C5 and the C23. The “Musée d'art contemporain de Lyon” stop is located in front of the museum, on the Park side.

Guide dogs are welcome at the museum.

A magnetic induction loop (BIM) system is located at reception and at the elevators.

Wheelchairs and folding seats are available at reception.

Elevators: all areas of the museum are accessible by elevator. The floors are indicated in Braille and by voice.

Toilets equipped for people with reduced mobility are available on the mezzanine (ES), at the entrance to the exhibitions.
