Through The Possible, the works of Pascale Charrier-Royer, known as Pacha, resonate with From One Dream to Another. They explore the tipping point where imagination becomes a creative force, shaping the outlines of worlds, whether already past or still to come.
Our understanding of the universe—shaped by successive cycles of rebirth, rupture, and emergence—invites us to consider existence as a continuous movement. Like the multiple “Big Bangs” that inform contemporary theories, life itself appears as a constant impulse, an energy in perpetual ransformation. From this perspective, believing in other possibilities is not utopian, but a continuation.
Yet the present is showing cracks. Climate disruption is weakening the balances we once believed to be enduring. In the face of this instability, a question remains: what is left when everything begins to falter? Perhaps precisely this—the vital force itself. The force of the elements, of cycles, of invisible metamorphoses that have always traversed and outlasted crises.
The works from the Life Drive series by Pacha, brought together here by Paule Martigny of Galerie Mémoire des Arts, offer no definitive answers. Instead, they open pathways. They invite us to consider that everything remains possible: to hope, to imagine, to dream—not as a way of escaping reality, but as a means of reinventing it.
