Opening of The Possible exhibition in the presence of curator Paule Martigny of Galerie Mémoire des Arts and visual artist Pascale Charrier-Royer, known as Pacha. Together, they will present the Life Drive series and the installation Vital Impulse, followed by a convivial reception.

Hovering between lunar, earthly, and otherworldly landscapes, the Life Drive series evokes a world in the making. Pale tones—off-white, muted browns, and subtle gradients of green—suggest matter in the process of becoming, a territory still unsettled. Within this almost immaterial composition, denser traces emerge like remnants or the first signs of life.

The work expresses the resilience of living things, their capacity to be reborn at the heart of chaos, in a perpetual movement of creation.

A hymn to life, much like the act of painting itself.

"Loïe in Silk": A Serpentine Dance

The exhibition “The Possible” extends into movement and living expression. Inspired by Loïe Fuller, a performance artist unfolds a dance of continuous transformation to Creation of the World, revisited by Vangelis. Dancer Corinne Benzema will perform in a silk tunic as a tribute to Lyon, the historic capital of this textile art. The garment features a motif drawn from Victory, creating a passage between memory and becoming.

Lyon, Silk and a Family Legacy

Echoing the choreographic performance Loïe in Silk, a lecture by Mr. Philibert Varenne, Director of the Maison des Canuts, will explore the profound relationship between Lyon and silk. He will share the story of his family’s enduring passion for silk, a legacy spanning five generations.
