Biography

Sirag Sesetyan examines the relationships between architecture, archives, and archaeology, focusing on the power structures that shape them. Through video, sculpture, and drawing, he constructs spaces in which fragmentary traces take precedence over grand narratives, revealing the tensions and displacements that inform our perception of history and territory. The media he employs are thus conceived as systems of translation, capable of generating new forms of narration and representation.
