This radical and much-needed solo by Luiz de Abreu and Calixto Neto deconstructs racist clichés one by one, with Neto perched on high heels against a Brazilian-flag backdrop.

This black queer performer, from a country tainted by homophobia and racism, turns his body into a manifesto. With scathing humour, he dissects the stereotypes that cling to the skin of racialised people. An act of resistance, this compelling and deeply human work celebrates freedom and invites us to refresh our gaze.
